The Surf Camp Experience
A typical week at Tayri Surf House: surf lessons, guiding, meals, yoga, beach transport, and Moroccan coastal life near Taghazout Bay.
How a day works
Surf camp life is simple: check the ocean, choose the right beach, surf, eat, rest, stretch, and enjoy the coast.
7:00 AM — Forecast and breakfast
The team checks swell, wind, tide, and crowd conditions. Breakfast is served at the house before the group leaves for the beach.
9:00 AM — Surf lesson or guiding
Beginners work with instructors on safety, paddling, pop-ups, stance, and turning. Intermediate surfers go with a guide or coach to the spot that fits the conditions and their goals.
Sessions usually run around two hours, with time for warm-up, feedback, and equipment changes.
12:30 PM — Lunch and beach time
After surfing, the day slows down. Some guests stay at the beach, some return to the house, and some explore the coast, cafes, markets, or nearby villages.
5:30 PM — Yoga, theory, or sunset
On selected evenings we run yoga, surf theory, video analysis, or a relaxed sunset session. If the waves are still good, intermediate surfers may choose a second paddle-out.
8:00 PM — House dinner
Dinner is where the camp comes together: Moroccan dishes, shared tables, surf stories, and plans for the next day.
During the week
Depending on conditions and the package you choose, your week can include:
- Surf lessons or guiding
- Board and wetsuit rental
- Daily beach transport
- Yoga and mobility
- Surf theory or video analysis
- Rooftop sunsets
- Local food and shared dinners
- Optional trips to Imsouane, Paradise Valley, Agadir souk, or nearby coastal villages
The goal is simple: make the surf trip feel easy, active, and memorable from the moment you arrive.
